Electronic Health Records Vendor Announces Free Meaningful Use Consultation
ChartLogic Will Conduct Extensive Evaluation of Each Customer

ChartLogic, Inc., a leading provider of Electronic Health Records to physician practices in the U.S. has announced a free "meaningful use" consultation program for their customer practices to ensure they meet meaningful use. ChartLogic has completed an evaluation of the 864 page final ruling and determined that their product will allow users to meet the meaningful use requirements.
A ChartLogic clinical workflow consultant will contact each practice, perform a thorough evaluation of the practice and their current Health IT product use, and then suggest solutions for the practice to improve workflow and become meaningful users. ChartLogic customers would likely pay several hundred to several thousand dollars in consulting services to find out how they can meet meaningful use and modify their practice workflow to match the government requirements. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) was signed into law in February 2009. It included the HITECH Act, which has provisions for eligible medical professionals to receive bonus payments for demonstrating meaningful use of certified EHR technology. Medicare eligible professionals can receive up to $44,000 over a period of 5 years, while Medicaid professionals can earn nearly $64,000.
